What is Intervio?
Intervio conducts a live, AI-led video interview for a hiring team. It asks the prepared questions for the role and creates structured materials the hiring team can review.
How long should I set aside?
The current interview takes about 15 minutes. Allow a few extra minutes for the mandatory camera and microphone check before it begins.
What device do I need?
Use a camera-enabled computer or mobile device with a working microphone and a current version of Chrome, Safari, or Edge. Open the link in the full browser rather than an in-app browser. Camera and microphone access are mandatory.
Will my interview be recorded?
The preparation page shows the exact recording state before you consent. When recording is on, the hiring team may review the full video and answer clips. When it is off, your live camera is still required for the video conversation but the session is not stored as a video recording.
What does Intervio create?
Every interview can produce a transcript and AI-generated scorecard. When recording is enabled, it can also produce a video recording and answer clips. The preparation page lists the artifacts for your interview.
Does AI make the hiring decision?
No. Intervio conducts the conversation and organizes interview materials. People at the hiring company review those materials and decide what happens next.
Who can see my interview?
Authorized members of the hiring company workspace can review materials for the role. Intervio and its service providers process data as needed to deliver, secure, and support the service. Candidate interviews are not published publicly through Intervio.
How should I prepare?
Choose a quiet, well-lit place, close other camera or meeting apps, connect power if needed, and answer in your own words. You do not need to memorize a script.
Can I request an accommodation or another format?
Yes—contact your recruiter before starting to discuss an accommodation or alternative interview arrangement. You can also email support@intervio.ai for help reaching the right team.
What if my camera, microphone, or connection fails?
The preparation page checks both devices without consuming the invitation. Follow its recovery steps, close other recording apps, reconnect devices, and retry. If a live session ends unexpectedly, contact the recruiter before trying a different link.
When does my invitation expire?
The email and preparation page show the exact deadline. Invitations are normally available for 21 days, with reminders before expiry, including a final reminder about 48 hours beforehand. An expired link requires a new invitation from the recruiter.
What happens when I select Start interview?
Start remains disabled until both required devices pass and you acknowledge the disclosure. The invitation is consumed only after the camera and microphone connect successfully to the interview room.
How do I ask about my data?
Read the Privacy notice for collection, use, retention, access, and deletion information. Contact the hiring company first for its hiring record, or email support@intervio.ai with the company, role, and interview email address.
