Who is responsible for candidate data?
The company that invited you determines why your interview is conducted and how it is used in its hiring process. Intervio provides the interview and review service on that company's behalf. Start with the hiring company for role-specific questions; Intervio support can help route privacy requests.
What we process
Invitation and profile details
Your name, email address, role, invitation state, and resume or candidate details provided by the hiring team.
Interview content
Your live camera and microphone streams, answers, transcript, and—when disclosed before you start—the video recording and answer clips.
Evaluation materials
AI-generated scorecards, summaries, evidence references, and workflow status used by the hiring team for review.
Technical information
Device and browser signals needed to connect the interview, operational logs, and security or delivery events.
Why it is used
- To deliver the live AI-led interview and keep the invitation secure and single-use.
- To create the transcript, scorecard, summaries, and review evidence shown to the hiring team.
- To provide recording and answer-clip review when recording is enabled and disclosed before you start.
- To operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the reliability of the service.
Intervio organizes interview materials; people at the hiring company make the hiring decision.
Recording, access, and service providers
The preparation page tells you the recording state before consent. Authorized members of the hiring company's workspace can review interview materials for the role. Intervio personnel may process data when needed to operate, secure, or support the service.
Intervio uses service providers for cloud hosting and storage, identity, transactional email, live audio and video, AI speech, language and avatar processing, and operational monitoring. Interview content is not made public through Intervio.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
The hiring company controls the hiring record and its retention instructions. Intervio retains candidate data while needed to provide the service, follow the hiring company's instructions, resolve security or support issues, and meet applicable legal obligations.
You can review the disclosure without starting, ask the recruiter about another format or accommodation, and leave before consuming the link. Privacy rights vary by location. To ask for access, correction, or deletion, contact the hiring company or email support@intervio.ai with the company name, role, and interview email address.
